Not much happening in photo land at the moment. I'm currently busy with music production, writing, creating radio edits, dealing with record company, artist, mastering and so on. And that's the pop thing, there's also gigging season now, lots of events to play. And I have a grand epic metal album to finish, then finally do my own thing. It will be.. different. I guess it will end up in the progressive rock category, although I don't really see it as such, and I don't really care about labels. It's just some songs I'm writing, some funny time signatures, slightly technical solo moments and lots of electronics. When that's finished I need to invite some guests I admire, and I can't really do that unless I have something to show (and something to pay, nobody works for free).

So yes, my creativity goes into music for the most part. I do however have some ideas, mainly about compositing. Currently trying to create something based on stock images from dA, we'll see how it goes. The PSD file is getting quite massive, so I guess I need several files for this one, then compile it in "flattened" format.

I guess the biggest job will be giving credit to the photographers, I'm using a lot of images. Even if I just use it for texturing, it will be linked back to the source. It's only fair, even if nobody could ever see it.

Been a while innit.

I haven't been here in years, actually. I stopped doing photos as I got my creative flow back, and it's in music. Several releases and projects on the way. But I've missed this visual art thing a bit, so I guess I'll try to log in more often, maybe every 2 years or so.

I don't know if anyone is still watching, but it doesn't matter. I'm not looking for a career in whatever my thing is. Photographer or photoshop nutter.

Yes! Summer is here! Time for countless insect macros, wide landscapes with white puffy clouds and all that. Well, not from me that is.

Finally I'll get myself a Wacom tablet for some serious work. Maybe I'll even do paintings now, who knows? We'll see.
Also getting a new 88 key M-audio keyboard for home use. I just can't practice enough these days when my gear is somehere else.

Maybe I'll even be more active on dA? More than one pic a year.

This monday I did my first music video with Illusion Suite, for the song Scarlet Skies. A day of playing the same song 27629847 times, but I think it will be awesome when it's done. Can't wait to see it and show it to the world. I'm not really a band member, but I'm there. After all, I play all keyboards on the album.

Watch out for it this spring/summer/fall/winter/next year/whenever. I don't know when it's done.

Ok, here's something you never thought I would ever say: I have started to exercise. What the deuce? My body is completely worthless, I have to do something before it's too late. I don't wanna be sick for the last 20 years of my life.
This is really boring shit, but I have to do it, and turn into... THE MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! By the power of... something.... doh!

I have done a few photos lately, and I'll post some of them when they are done. Band photos for After Eternity. They wanted it dark and sick... I can do that.

Working on recording keyboards for Illusion Suite these days. Heavy, melodic and symphonic stuff, I love it. I'm also working on my own stuff. Very slowly, but I'm taking all the time I need to make it perfect.
